I PUT THIS on a 1973 perkins marine diesel engine. mount did not fit but i managed to solve that and it works great. plenty of power from 12v battery.

The solenoid was the exact part, however, it did not come with instructions, which are very important to make this particular solenoid work! I ruined the first one because I didn't get it adjusted exactly right. I had to call a manufacturer rep to explain how to set it up correctly, because there were no instructions.
