I have three, large 18"x24" cutting mats on my work desk, but I bought three of these smaller "ZERRO Cutting Mat". At this price, it was crazy for me not to. I build models and have three storage areas for the models I'm building. I placed one of the cutting mats in each of the three storage areas. They act as a tray for the model, a gluing mat, a photoetch and decal cutting mat, and a hand painting mat for each individual model. They help to preserve the larger mats I have covering my work desk and help them stay cleaner. Perfect! Highly recommend!

I build a lot of RC models, and I have needed a mat like this for a long time. Even my big 1/14 semi trucks can fit on this mat. Perfect for cutting, pressing, or just fitting circlips to shafts and not having them go flying if it doesn't snap into place.I may get another one for my sewing machine and just cut out where the machine is.

Works very well with cotton and other woven fabrics. More pressure is needed on the rotary cutter for cutting ripstop nylon. Cutting cotton batting often leaves traces of the batting embedded in the mat.

I use these for measuring/marking various materials - from felt for sound dampening home studios & other larger more craft oriented hobbies to generate passive income - like quilting & repairing quality work clothing.My Fiskar roller is sharper than anything legal should be, now, after several years of working with these mats there is hardly any damage at all, & there are very many sizes to boot; the money pays itself back within a few months - & I'm an old lady going to bed at 8, adulting, crafting...get the mats, worth the cost per the quality of the finished products.Recommended.

I have used inexpensive cutting mats and they just wear out so fast. So far, this one is not showing signs of wear. It is thick and well made.
