I did not have a live center for my South Bend Model 9A lathe. It had to be a Morse 2 taper and this item was an exact fit. Good price for reasonable quality. I am happy with this purchase.

Live center was fixed, so it did not serve the function it was supposed to. We returned it for a refund and are still shopping.

This one definitely warms up a lot faster than other ones I've purchased, but it works. The runout was only 0.0004, so I'm pretty happy with that.
