I am using this product with a terrarium that my granddaughter has grasshopper pets in. The sand is very fine and dustless. The grasshoppers love it and are thriving.

Good sand for the type of usage but the bags were busted and messy.

It's a small bag of sand like it says. I don't use it by itself. I mix it with soil for my burrowing tarantulas and it works exceptionally well

The sand is fine. My son will be using it for some blue death feigning beetles. The problem with this is the listing. It says it's 1 quart of sand, but it's only 2 lbs which is probably a couple cups. The bag is the size of a sandwich bag, not a quart size bag. Be aware if you think you will be getting 1 quart of sand.
