I ordered an insulated cover, since Texas water connections are outside the house. And yes it does freeze here.

Ice broke my check valve, this replaced the broken valve. Great price too. The plumber wanted over double for the same part.

Bought 2 of them with the same issue: connected, open the water and water come out from the black head like a falls. The second of it, removed from the box, barely connected with the hose and same issue: water from side and black head. I hate this poor assembly and no quality control from the manufacturer, I spent time and money at least for the first item I bought that I assembled and I discovered the issue at the very end. Moving to another brand.

I bought this and made the install myself. Light PVC work to get it installed. I also added two Union connections to make the valve easy to replace next time 👍 Speed of delivery and quality of product were also both spot on. Thanks for the craftsmanship
