These are great smaller pie plates for a good price. They are perfect for seniors or someone who does not want a lot of leftovers. As an older person I doubt I will ever use any of my other pie plates again, these could not be more perfect.

This is an exact replacement for a pie plate purchased as a set of two in 2021 ( ). I mention the "exact" part because there is no standard measurement for pie plates and it took several tries to find a replacement. The original plate says it is 7", and this says it is 6.5"... but it depends on where you measure. In any event, this size is perfect for a half-recipe of pie. I make one batch of pie crust, line both pans, make the pie filling, and bake one pie and freeze the pie crust in the pan and freeze the remaining filling for later (I leave out eggs for pumpkin pie and put a note with the filling to remind myself to add them). That way I have a nice fresh pie for Thanksgiving and then later Christmas. You can do many other things with these pie plates, but that's how I use them. And if I'm giving away a pie, I'll use a disposable plate, even though glass is better. Lesson learned!

This looks really nice and thought the size woukd be perfect for a smaller 2 person pie, but see that tye bottom is only 5 inches so it makes the inside very small. The top of tyempie pale is close to 6.5 inches, as described, which is good. I wanted to make a pie using 2 larger apples but can’t imagine them close to fitting. Will need to return it and possibly try fora bit larger one.

I've been wanting a pie plate in which to make pies about half the CONTENT of a full-size pie. The geometry is complicated, but this pie plate contains about half what a full-size (9 inch) plate plate would contain. I've used it once and it's perfectly functional.

I use this in my air fryer, the one with racks, to reheat mostly ny potatoes, either mashed or diced, and for reheating other foods. It is an ideal size for a single person. Maybe over the winter time I will get more adventurous and try other dishes as well
