This was recommended to me by Sally's baking addiction site. I know it seems like just a glass dish, but it is really pretty and washes up nicely. I made her pineapple upside down cake for Easter in it. It was a good buy.

Love this pie dish. Like all things Pyrex, very strong and baked evenly.

Gave this and the crust thing, and the pastry mat and a couple of pie recipes from the family. The lady loved it she likes to make pies. She likes the Pyrex. She was very happy with it.

Like this glass pie dish as it heats up pretty evenly and browns the bottom crust well.Note: if you're making custard pies (i.e. pumkin, banana creme, coconut, chocolate, etc) you'll need to brown the crust lightly first before baking the pie completely. It's lightweight and easy to clean.

Arrived well packaged and damage free. Same dimensions as an old one I have. I only use glass pie plates for baking pies and quiches to assure a perfect crust that metal or ceramic pie plates just don’t seem to produce. Need to be handled with care because they are easily damaged by any impact and thermal shock. I only put in oven when glass is at room temperature since using right out of refrigerator increases breakage in my experience.

The dish was replacing one I had accidently dropped on cement & cracked. It was one of my favorites so I was happy when I found the identical one.
