This drain plug was a perfect upgrade for my Toyota Tacoma’s front differential case, even though it’s technically meant for a Lexus. The OEM 10mm hex bolt is notorious for stripping over time, and mine was already tough to remove, so I didn’t want to risk it. Swapped it out with this plug, and it fit like a glove.It even comes with a copper crush washer, which is a nice touch. The best part is that it takes a regular large automotive hex socket instead of a small Allen key, so torquing it down is way easier and way less likely to strip. There are plenty of videos and forum posts showing how the OEM bolt can be a pain, so this is a solid upgrade. Plus, it has a magnetic tip, which is perfect for catching any metal shavings in the transfer case. Great part, highly recommend it!

If you have a Toyota 4x4 with the 10mm Allen wrench drain plug, this is a perfect replacement! Comes with the appropriate gasket, and fits perfectly! The magnet is REALLY strong. It will take a little effort to get it to engage the threads because it sticks to the pan while you are trying to install it. Snugs right up and torques down much easier than the OEM 10mm plug. I put some anti-seize on this one so that the next change will go more smoothly.

Used on front differential for 2015 tacoma. Got rid of the 10mm hex screw that was a pain to remove. I almost destroyed the threads on it but finally came out. No leaks. Good quality and price.

Had 10mm hex drain plug on 07 Tacoma needing replaced and went this route. Strong magnetic and works great. Also came with assortment of washers for your needs.

Fits 2010 4runner Limited, FYI. I ditched the Allen key plug, they're too easy to round out if you live near rust. Strong magnet. No complaints.

Claims to fit 2020 Tacoma. It fits NOTHING on the 2020 Tacoma.

As I'm sure many know, the drain bolt on the front differential of Tacoma's is difficult to remove. Luckily mine did remove fairly easily, but I replaced it with this stainless steel one to ensure future fluid changes will go without a hitch. It sealed up perfectly and hasn't shown any drips or anything. Definitely a must have for Tacoma owners doing their own fluid changes.
