While looking like just a piece of formed plastic, there have been multiple uses. It does what it says and I've used them for paracord, rope, cord, radial wiring for ham radio antennas, and other wiring when travelling for portable radio use. Especially for wiring and RF associated items, it ensures lines are orderly stored without excessive bending or breaking lines.

I do a lot of gardening. We have shrubs, trees, vegetables, etc., that require supporting. 550 paracord is used, as well as various other line materials/sizes. When I ordered these "line organizers", I expected them to be able to hold more than 100ft of 550 paracord. Being that limited means, I can expect to hold less length of larger diameter line per organizer. I'll live with it. Just wanted future buyers to be aware. The product is sturdy enough, but I would liked to have had a line cutter on it.

I like using this for organizing my ropes that I use for camping. I can better judge the length of some of my ropes by winding it around the same organizer and file it in a bin.

I have a few of these already for holding 550 cord in my packs. I'm making a pack for my daughter and son-in-law. I needed a few more holders. Thanks
