They were easy to install and the LED's do come on using the light sensor but don't expect these to last with everyday use.Lasted for 6 months of everyday use. The switch just wouldn't change positions anymore.I got the multi pack so I replaced it with another and I have a few more so I can ruse them until I go back to the old switch chat still worked after 30 years.One word: China
