I used one of these switches to replace the old vent fan switch in my kitchen. I now have an outlet in a very convenient spot above the counter, and can still turn on my ventilation van when needed. It looks nice, and was easy to install.

Great for walls that need an additional outlet. Plug can be used for Cellphone charging, night light and/or vacuum cleaner use. Great product.

I needed an outlet in the hall for a plug-in nightlight where the wall switch is located for the overhead light and this worked perfect.

These are very nice switches. I replaced a non functioning switch with this and now have a back-up. If you want the switch and outlet to work separately, install without breaking off the tab and follow the connections in the instructions. Be sure to connect the hot wire where it shows in the picture.

The switch does not always make contact by just normally turning on - you have to press hard nr switch at the end of it's travel. We have the same problem with other bestten dimmer switches. It works now that I remember to press hard on the switch so I will not replace them, but I will not buy them again either.

I was impressed with the quality. It was Well packaged and obviously a quality product. Directions left a bit to be desired .. the wiring diagram is funny, got a laugh. Anyways I used these to replace 2 basement wall switches. The first was a breeze, all the original wires including ground and neutral were properly wired to original. Easy install. Took about 3 minutes mostly unscrewing and screwing back plate screws. The second one however sent me scurrying to my favorite handyman forums. The white wire was connecting the current through the switch L to R at the top feed screws; a red wire was cut and hanging in the box and 2 black wires bypassed everything and were pigtailed together in a cap behind the switch. O and there’s a deck screw laterally between the vertical joists holding the electrical box in place. As the instructions say you can’t connect this if the original box only has one wire, and is missing a neutral takeaway, this looked like a nonstarter. However, the switch controlled a ceiling fan and an exhaust fan, both of which worked fine, so I decided to test my hypothesis that the hot was the white wire, and the neutral was the black one and that for whatever mysterious reason that black neutral was bypassed through use of the pigtail. I won’t bore you with exhaustive steps i used to check, but that was what had been done.I then tagged the white feed with black tape and wired the new switch, and brought in the neutral (black now with white tape tag) to feed the plug part of the switch. Everything works fine. So, if you have a setup like mine, don’t despair; I have an old house and am no longer too surprised at what I find. This original switch was not wired properly, and could have been a fire hazard so I’m glad I installed the switch.

Its perfectly fine for my project. Installation was easy. Very good price. Wall plate is little smaller than mine original one but it’s ok for me.

Installed this in less than 5 minutes. Took me longer to get the faceplate off the old plug. I installed this so that the switch would control the integrated plug for our pool pump. Simply snapped off the connecting tab, wired a jumper and the rest was straight forward.
