This worked just as advertised. I used it on some old doorbell wiring that was live and not being used. I was able to install a light in a dark hallway that didn't previously have one. It was easy to follow the diagram and hook up the wiring correctly.

This is one of the better purchases I’ve made. We had a light in our basement living room that used to be a pull string and I replaced the light with one that didn’t have a string but needed a way to turn it off without running wiring.I decided to try out this wireless light switch as the only wiring required is connecting the receiver to the light. Then the connection between the switch and receiver is wirelessSo far the reception between the switch and receiver has been reliable. Installation was straightforward and works exactly like I hoped.

I installed four Suraielec switches and really enjoyed the ease of setup and functionality. I deducted a start due to lack of customer service and no wifi. I've got them controlling recessed lighting (Cloudy Bay which is amazing). The Cloudy Bay product is very versitile, but difficut to explain voice commands to guests. With the Suraielec switch they can turn on and off all the lights at once. I installed a fifth switch and two rooms with the Cloudy Bay lights started turning on randomly. I decided to return to Amazon for a replacement. The replacement switch seems to be working fine and the lights are staying off in both rooms. When I wrote to Suriaelec support, the email could not be sent. I saw a couple reviews where lights were randomly lit which also reported the lack of Customer Support. If you want a nice simple setup, buy this switch. Expect to replace 20%; this is worth it to me though I would like a remote switch I could control with WiFi.

I have a very strong security light mounted next to a basement exit. I wanted maximum light for the area, but there is a deck built over the top of the light. There is never enough ambient light to activate the photo sensor, so the light stays on 24 hours per day. Not wanting to go up and down stairs everyday to turn the light off, I did some research.This wireless light switch is exactly what I needed to remedy the problem. I mounted a box next to the light and put the receiver in that box out of the weather. The remote switch is on the floor above the basement, and with no effort or delay at all, I can turn the light off and on with just the flick of the switch.The price of this wireless kit is remarkable for what it can do in cost savings of not only the power to run the light, but by not having it on 24 hours the service life is extended.Minimal knowledge of electrical wiring is needed to install this as a DIY project. I hope that it last for several years. With a 15 amp rating, it is capable of controlling a lot of items from 100 feet away.I highly recommend this brand based on price at this point. A few months of cycling the light will address the durability.

This saved a lot of time and money over installing wiring to separate control of my ceiling fan and light. It has good range (over 40' in my case) and the battery has worked flawlessly for the past 4 months. The switch looks similar to my existing switches.

For the longest time, we had to deal with a pull chain lamp socket in a crawl space.Finally, I started looking for a remote electrical switch, and eventually found this product!It was EXACTLY what I was looking for!I had to install a new work metal electrical box, mounted the relay on top of the box, via .5†knock out. Relay comes with a metal locknut.The price of this relay is fantastic!Remote uses a A23 battery, ceiling fan remote battery.Wiring is simple. Directions are easy to follow.Note: ALWAYS secure power (turn off) first prior to wiring!

Easy install, good instructions.I used this to remotely control the pool lights from inside. I installed it in the metal breaker panel for the pool and it still has a control range. Works perfectly for my use. Will buy more of these if I need another remote switch.
