I recently used the Gulfmew Wood Anchor Repair Kit to fix broken handles on my hamburger presses, and I am extremely impressed with the results. These anchors were exactly what I needed to get the job done quickly and effectively.Ease of Use:The anchors were very easy to install. They went into the stripped holes perfectly, providing a solid and secure hold for the screws. The instructions were clear, and the whole process was straightforward, even for someone who isn’t particularly handy.Performance:Once installed, the anchors held the screws firmly in place, making the handles feel as sturdy as new. There was no wobbling or loosening, even with repeated use of the presses. These anchors have restored the functionality of my equipment, saving me from having to replace it.Durability:The quality of these anchors is impressive. They seem durable and built to last, ensuring that the repairs will hold up over time. I have no concerns about them failing or needing to be replaced any time soon.Overall Experience:In summary, I highly recommend the Gulfmew Wood Anchor Repair Kit to anyone dealing with stripped screw holes in wood. I recently used the Gulfmew 10 Pcs Wood Anchor Stripped Screw Hole Repair Kit to fix a 3 stripped screw holes on our door frame on the top door hinge. While it did improve the situation and make the door more secure than before, it wasn’t a perfect fix.We most likely needed the next size up anchor set, which I believe would of fixed the issue completely. Can't fault the product for us ordering the wrong size, when ordering get the correct size and it should work as intended. We left it as is for now as we are currently just going to replace the entire door/frame soon.

I brought this product to use to screw my door hinges, and it did not work at all. It went into the hole and broke off properly, but when I put the screw in, it did NOT hold it whatsoever. We ended up using chopsticks and putting it in the whole and breaking it off and then putting a screw in. Do not buy this product for that purpose.

This is fast and effective if you only have a few holes that you need to plug up in order to drill into. However, it is a bit pricier if you have a lot of holes in which a wood epoxy would be cheaper and more cost effective remedy. This is quicker as youcan immediately make repairs as the epoxy does have a a long cure time. If you're in a rush and have only a few holes, imwould recommend this. Otherwise, wood epoxy is a more cost-effective option.

I have a heavy solid wood door where the house has settled so the tip hinge (of 3 hinges) has slowly stripped the screw holes in the door frame. The door doesn't close quietly. Over the years I've tried stuffing the hole with matchsticks, longer screws, etc. Eventually, they come loose.I tried this solution. I screwed the plastic in which didn't go far. It broke off easily. I had mixed results. The top screw basically wouldn't allow me to screw it in by hand. I had to use a drill driver. The middle long screw went in easily by hand but I think the hole is stripped so this is a fail. The bottom screw faired the best. It broke off and showed the plastic hold. I drove it in with the drill driver in a second. It looks solid. The door doesn't close cleanly because I think the top screw has moved a bit. It's better than it was, but I will follow up in a month.

I hate stripped holes and these anchors are awesome for getting screws to fit tight again. They've worked for wood and metal holes for me. I've used them on wood for a door hinge and mailbox hinge and a metal side door for attaching a door closer. I'm guessing that wherever there's a stripped hole within the diameter of these anchors they'll do the job.I recommend to anyone to keep a box or two in your toolbox.

I was looking for an item to secure two doors. The door to the Master Bath had been problematic and I assumed it had been hung wrong and the door from the Garage to the house had also been problematic latching. In both cases, I determined that several screws were stripped.Originally, I tried to get screws slighter larger than the original, but that did not work well, it only stripped again as the wood was weak.I reluctantly decided to try these and I am impressed. These not only fill the gap left by the stripped screw, when you screw back in the original anchor, it forms a more secure bond.Long story short, these work.

I’m a senior lady with arthritis, so ease of things is crucial. I love to do my own repairs, & work with my hands, & this item made my recent door hinge repair a breeze!
