None of the reeds were functional. Even with shaving by pro player. All are useless and the return is difficult and prohibitively expensive. Get reeds elsewhere, these are junk. And I wasted $60 trying to save $20.

A lot of the other comments are like these suck there not great but personal experience they are as said and cost for amount is pretty nice sense the last oboe reeds I was looking at were ten dollars a piece

I am not a musician and I bought these for my daughter for 6 grade band. Not sure if she is using them properly, if the reeds just don't last as long as I think they should or if they really aren't lasting as long as they should. Had a few in previous package that seemed to be bad immediately. Like I said though, a beginner student may be using them incorrectly. Just not sure. According to google search, oboe reeds should last about 15 days max. That's like 150 days of school. Maybe 100 with a student who is not careful with them. Just seemed to go through them very quickly.

Run away! These are terrible. Bought a pack of 10 and only 1 was playable. That one was only barely playable.Terrible

Generally I would never buy oboe reeds or any instrument parts from Amazon (and I rarely write reviews unless particularly impressed or displeased with a product), but I needed medium-soft oboe reeds more quickly than I could get them elsewhere at the time I purchased them for our daughter so I was hopeful these reeds would do the trick for a one-time purchase through Amazon after reviewing comparable options on the site. Four were already cracked upon arrival and the rest cracked after barely any use and overall impacted the sound quality of the instrument. They were a big frustration for our daughter (and me). A huge disappointment and waste of money.

I order the 1st bunch they were all split and couldn't be used so I asked for a replacement but they were all junk too
