Easily bends 1/2 EMT, as it's designed to do. It's far cheaper than almost everything I could find on here. Yes, it doesn't come with a handle, but any length of 3/4" threaded black pipe will fit this. I borrowed one off of a pipe clamp I had. Once the project is complete, it can go back to being used for the pipe clamp, and this tool will easily sit in a drawer of my tool chest until I need it later.It's not a professional grade tool, but for a jack of all trades, that has occasional use, this works perfectly!

I used this unit to bend 1/2 inch EMT conduit for mounting Christmas decorations on my roof.I had to bend in all sorts of directions. Works great making smooth bends without any kinks.

Get pro results at reasonable cost.. wiring my garage and I could have used a bunch of pre bent angles and juggles with unions but it would have costed a lot more and been a lot more fooling around. This pipe hickey bends nice and doesn’t kink or flatten EMT conduit. I’d recommend even if you are doing a relatively small job.

My first job bending 1/2" EMT conduit and this bender worked fantastic. Picked up a 3/4" stock threaded pipe at Home Depot to complete the tool and it bent easily and smoothly. Love it and can now add conduit bending to my skill list.

I used a 4 foot 3/4 inch threaded pipe for a handle (from one of my pipe clamps, so I didn't have to buy anything) that threaded in fine, and bent the conduit I wanted to bend. I wanted to make seat back supports bent to 10 degrees, and I was able to make them with no problems with 1/2 inch conduit. It bent the conduit easily.

You will need a piece of 3/4 inch pipe about 36 inches long threaded on at least one end for the handle.
