Wouldn’t hurt to have in between sizes. I used it to spread copper fittings. Maybe I tried to spread too much. The first time it split the copper. Next time I heated the copper and it worked fine.

Great product - used for AC linesets. Be slow and make small moves at a time and use increments to get to final size. Rather hard to use if the line is pointing away from you but probably the best affordable tool available for swaging. I wanted this compared to the drill or hammer versions because it allowed more finesse which is needed to not split the copper.
