This is a great replacement for the Weber igniter - at a much better price. The installation was super easy, especially after watching a couple of YouTube videos! All you need is a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers to remove the old one and install the new one. Saved a ton of money with this one instead of buying the over-priced Weber igniter.

My ignited stopped working and even with some fiddling with it, I could barely get it to spark once or twice. I decided to try this one and couldn't be happier. The instructions are excellent and very well-illustrated. It came with two different types of the spark part, I assume to fit different grill models, and also came with an extra puss button. It was very easy to remove the old one and install the new one. This one installs slightly different into the control panel, in that the old one snaped in and the new one has a threaded nut that secures it. It is somewhat of a pain getting the nut to line up with the threads and go on straight, as they are only on the two sides where the clips were on the old one (you'll understand once you see it.) Wish they had stayed with the clip design, but that also might be so that it fits more models. At any rate, it's installed and works much better than any of the original Weber ones did. The spark rate is twice as fast, so the grill lights faster. Other than that, it looks identical. It was a great value and got my grill up and running again, so I couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!!

Once I was able to get the old starter out, I had to disconnect the wires from the new starter, and then plug it back in that seemed to be a little trick that should help others. Then connecting the other parts was pretty simple. I find it interesting that they don't have any instruction on the starter that you need a aaa battery and which way the battery goes in? I know that you need a battery to put in. Just keep that in mind once you install. If you don't put a battery in, it's not going to work. But if you do put the battery in, it should work perfectly fine.

Install was easy. Came with everything needed and clear instructions if you need them. I wish the button was a little more substantial. If feels flimsy as it’s thin plastic. It does come with 2 buttons but I would have happily paid more for a more solid piece but overall this is a good purchase.

Our Weber Genesis worked perfectly for over ten years until the igniter knob plastic retention mechanism broke. I flat out refused to replace a perfectly good Weber gas grill over a floppy knob. So I ordered a replacement knob but contrary to the item pictured, the one that arrived is for a different model. So I try again from a different merchant... Same problem; pictured is the exact replacement but a knob for a different model arrives. Something funny going on with part numbers? Who knows. OK. Lets just replace the whole dang igniter system that also comes with the right knob. That's what this is and it works perfectly. And HOORAY it comes with TWO KNOBS! :-)

Our Weber Genesis S-320 natural gas grill has been in heavy use for 16 years. After 5 or 6 years the electric spark system stopped working. Weber provides a little pilot lighting hole in the front and so I didn't bother to fix the system. However, I decided to take a look at my options the other day and found this after-market ignition module. I'm usually not a huge fan of aftermarket for something like this, but I was pleasantly surprised that the fit, finish and build quality were all as good as the original Weber. No tools are required to install this, you just remove the push-button, squeeze the tangs of the switch stem, and pop it out. The ignitor isn't fastened to the burner, it has a spring fit that just slides onto the mount. The new switch has a threaded nut instead of the tangs, but it works perfectly and the knob looks identical to the Weber and sits flush on the surface. I installed a AAA battery and it worked the first click! I wish I would have done this years ago. Very easy to install, OEM quality, good instructions if you need them.

I have a Weber Spirit Special Edition Gas Grill and it is difficult to figure out exactly which parts fit my grill. The original ignitor stopped working and I unfortunately removed it and threw it away before buying a replacement. For those reasons I didn't know which ignitor to buy so I took a chance on this double ignitor kit and the larger ignitor slid right into place. This ignitor uses a AAA battery to produce a spark. The original ignitor was a push button that clicked when you pushed it producing the spark. Time will tell how long the battery works but for now it's better than having to stick an electronic lighter through the side of the grill to light the first burner. I'm glad I bought this unit and I'd buy it again.FYI: I was not compensated in any way for a positive review and I'm not affiliated in any way with the company that sells this kit.

Fits well, install was relatively easy and instructions are easy to follow. One of the buttons it came with would not ignite… thankfully it comes with 2 buttons. Still disappointing the spare button does not work.
