This 4" ceiling electrical box is practically identical to the one you can get from your local home improvement store. Yes, it's 4". Yes, it's a standard size for light fixture. I've used it to put an light up in the attic without any issues. Nails are plenty strong enough and do not bend easily (none in my case). The only thing that keeps me away from the giving this box 5 star rating is the price. For $9, this is really 4 times more expensive than what you'd find at a local store.... for pretty much exactly the same thing. The ratio starts to even out the more you buy, so that a 12-pack of these are about what you'd pay for it at the store.

Nothing much to say here. Works just like any other junction box, mounts easily, nails don't bend either which is nice. Moderately durable as the other brands are. I just wanted to try this out to see if it was worth it and I can say, I would recommend especially for the low cost.

Almost identical to the ones you can Ny at local hardware store but less expensive! Quality of plastic and dimensions are on point. Happy with my purchase

As good as any other box you'll find at big box stores, and just like those, I recommend a flat head to pop with openings you need. Easy to install. No complaints.

Was doing some work in the house from a drywall perspective and needed to install an additional outlet. This attached easily to the stud, ROMEX was easy to thread through the bottom slat with the removed tab, and the securing mechanism worked great for the outlet. This is a very standard size - it is not a deep outlet box, so if you are having to do more complex wiring, the space might be a challenge. Beyond that concern, everything else worked exactly as it needed to.
