Started acting up after about a month. Eventually, after a couple months it wouldn't shut off and started to smoke. I had the key out and disconnected the spark plug. If I wouldn't have had a 10mm wrench in the quad it probably would have burned since the only way to stop it was to unbolt the cover and disconnect the battery.
