I do a lot of work on and around boats, and brass or more often bronze wool is a go-to product due to the fact that it does not leave any rust prone bits behind to cause problems later. This is important for woodwork, where rust stains can be a problem when they turn up under finishes.This product is a medium coarseness and seems perfectly fine for use.The billed $24 price is higher than other vendors or sources, even high end marine stores, and I don't see that there is any quality difference. So the product is fine, the price is a little high, but if the convenience or free shipping from Amazon is a determining factor this will do the job.
