used around piping areas throughout my house. I used a flat metal tool to stuff which did not come with the product. it did come with gloves, which is necessary.

When cutting with scissors, it creates some powder like shards where we cut it. Its think that's why so it creates some mess. It does th e job though. I have yet to see if it will rust or not

There's nothing revolutionary here in terms of the construction of this steel wool. Except perhaps that it comes in sheets that lend themselves to this application. This serves as a semi-permanennt solution for filling holes where rodents or other medium sized pests might travel. This replaces or delays the need for a proper drywall, plaster or more involved solution. Each package can probably be used to impede 3-4 holes though, of course, hole sizes vary.

This really works for mice and squirrels. We had a squirrel who used our shed as a store house and restaurant. Put the steel wool around the base of the shed and he couldn't get in. Had tried a spray that didn't work and this did.

Terrible stuff. I put in in the gaps of my mobile home where there were gaps in the skirting. Now the skirting is streaked with yellow stain as the product rusted all along two sides of my home. Im going to have to get it painted, it looks so bad/
