I recently replaced an 8' wide sliding glass door leading to a deck off my upstairs master bedroom. The new door is 6' wide which left a 12" gap on either side of the new door that had to be patched with new stucco. The new stucco had to match the texture of the existing stucco which was full of raised swirls. In order to install new exterior casing around the new door I had to grind down the stucco all the way around the new door and knock off some of the high spots. This little grinding wheel really did the trick and easily ground down the raised areas of the stucco. The photo shows the heavily textured stucco before I ground it down a bit all the way around the door frame.I'm very impressed with the performance. For the price, you can't beat it, especially since you get two wheels! For the job I needed it to do, it was great!

I wasn't sure what to expect with these, but thought I would give them a shot. Our concrete is very hard because it is full of 1 inch granite. These do a good job of grinding down the uneven spots to make it easier to shovel and plow the driveway. They also last a long time. I have done a lot of grinding and there is still a lot of life left.

Works well to grind some plaster from bathroom wall. Still have a lot of life on them.

These performed far better than expected. What a bargain. Ground down some asphalt like it was soft butter.

So I had a lot of mortar left on the floor under the Durock after ripping up the tile floor. I attached the wheel to my DeWalt grinder (I used the included washer) and started sweeping it side to side like I was wiping the floor. It ground off the mortar like butter. Within 2 minutes I had cleared about 12 square feet. In the pictures I am showing about a one square foot of mortar. The second pictures shows the thickness, about 1/4". In fact there was part of a screw remaining down in there. It whipped that area clean to the wood within 15 seconds, including the screw (sparks). It requires zero pressure, it just eats mortar and any nails or screws get ground down too.I will say that goggles and mask are a must. The amount of dust in the room made it impossible to see what I was doing every couple of minutes. By the time I was done, 15 minutes of actual grinding on a 10x10, my hair was coated in a thick powder and eyes burning. Basically I would stop every couple of minutes due to not being able to see through the dust. After about 30 minutes it settles and I went back to it, stopping periodically due to thick dust. The first wheel looked like it had been hardly used after doing this room. It makes the wood look almost brand new like a sandpaper machine. I don't know what it would do to a concrete floor if you needed to grind an area, but I'm sure it would be worth trying. Well worth the money and you get two wheels!

I only used one out of two and I think one would suffice as they seem quality made.

Did not last as long as needed . Cleaned 9'x4' area of glue of concrete and then noticed it was ground down too far for more use.I'll need 4 total. Still cheaper than 40 to 50 dollar wheel, but the higher wheel might last multiple jobs. I won't know.
