Nothing 'wrong' with these plates, they are fairly heavy duty and seem high quality. Unfortunately I wanted to use 1/4" lags with these, which don't quite fit. I drilled the holes bigger and was able to still use these, but it took more time and work than I wanted to put in.

If you believe their product description (like I did), you are being lied to!The plates are alum NOT stainless steel like described. For my project I needed stainless steel plates and got alum instead!Do Not Buy!!I will never buy from REDOVANT ever again! Can't trust them!

The description says these plates are 3 mm thick. They are less than 2 mm thick. They measure .070". Beware

These brackets arrived quickly, they have a nice black finish but they are definitely not 3mm thick as indicated in image and write up so they are not as strong as they suggest. They are 1.8mm thick including the powder coating. The coating itself gets thicker at the edges. These are small, thinner and really not heavy duty at all.
