My fence was the only one that didn't blow apart during the last hurricane. The top cross bracing comes lose over time and causes the fence slates to fall out. These angle brackets keep the fence braces attached to the posts. I used stainless #8 x 5/8" flat head wood screws.

I purchased these because I was too lazy to go to one of the big hardware stores and I needed something to secure wood for my garden.These work amazingly. They are very sturdy and very good quality. I also used extras to anchor a large cabinet to the wall. They seem a lot better quality than the standard wall anchoring brackets to as these have six holes to secure versus the normal two to four.
