These things are extremely strong. I had a wrench fall down into my engine into a spot I couldn't get it out....this pulled it right out.

As designed this duo works as expected. The magnets are very strong, and I can almost believe they didn't round to the nearest 5 or 10 when they claimed 40lb pull force :) The tools are light and easy to handle. 30 inches sounds long, but it is just long enough. The metal used to create the telescope feels sturdy enough to handle heavy weights... up to 40lbs

I love using this when crafting with metal cause when you drop some pieces they are so small to see, this picks them right up. NO more needles in the foot.

These telescoping magnets are decent and do just what they are described to do. My only issue is that they would be a lot more user friendly if they had swivels on the ends. They still do a decent job without the swivels but it would help to get into a couple more places I think if they could be turned slightly. Other than that they are well made and sturdy and have good strong magnets on the end.
