These were used in lath and plaster walls which are not easy to cut to fit.The boxes were easy to use and worked as designed.Because they are in a wall hard to know if "weatherproof" is a feature so no awarded stars.Honestly, is anything weatherproof?

Don't know if contractor installed the originals in wrong or just the Texas heat destroy them blue boxes, but these orange boxes went in easy. Only issue is the tabs where the romex goes thru was awful tough to break off so I could run the wire thru.Had to replace 5 of these in my house. DR Horton home.

I installed these in a 1926 home with plaster walls. The boxes worked great and held solidly. I had NO issues with the plastic wings breaking—just tighten until snug.Tip: The holes where the outlet screws in are indeed a bit too small, as others have mentioned. This makes it so tight that the screw heads strip out on the outlet screws. To fix this, before installing the boxes, I used a drill bit that was just slightly larger than the factory holes. After doing this, the screws went in just fine and held tight.

This electrical box made installing a new outlet so much easier. I didn’t have to worry about finding a stud for mounting. The latching tabs on the back securely gripped the drywall, making installation quick and hassle-free.

These are a little pricey compared to home depot but are good quality and delivered right to my door.

Not the best quality but made it work. It cracked during installation x 2. Would not purchase again
