A regular brush just doesn't do the job, my dog has hair that can get matted if I don't comb through it well. This gets to the base of the hair and combs all the way through. I also use it to sometimes comb out the dried tear stains on his eyes, it works well to remove the gunk. Very sturdy and easy to use, my dog is small but these combs work well on him for the size.

Got a new fuzzy puppy who needs a bit of daily brushing and combing. First thing I did when I received these was to aggressively comb my scalp in order to see how they’d feel on the puppy. No scratching or scraping whatsoever so I know the dog is safe.The comb is made of stainless or surgical type steel, is firm in hand and does not flex as you draw through tangled hair, very easy to use.The fact it’s a three pack allows me to have one of these in several locations.For the money, a very good deal.

Low density, thin-skin systems are quite fragile when wet. I bought these because I had an old stainless steel dog comb I had purchased many years ago and it was perfect to fluff up the wet hair on a system with no hair loss (shedding) to facilitate quicker drying without using a hair blower. These are longer, easier to use to reach the back of the head when the system is on and offer two wide spaced combs that work better than anything else I've tried.

I use a metal comb to keep my Maltese from developing matted fur. He likes to be combed and his fur requires that I do it daily. I really like these metal combs. They were a really good purchase. The price is very reasonable, the product is well made and because they come in sets of three, I won't be purchasing any metal combs for a long time. I would recommend these combs.

I have six animals and if you know anything about how they live, it means hair is everywhere if you don’t groom properly!My husband and I struggled for years with grooming one of our cats (a long haired, white, Norwegian forest cat) and a few months ago noticed he was getting some matting under his armpits. Stressed, I went online and found these combs. They arrived quickly and are a life changer.Mozzy doesn’t like being brushed. We’ve had to warn neighbors before that he’s not dying! Just being a little dramatic. But he loves these combs. He will follow me around and cry to be combed out with them.Since then, my animals are matte free and strutting their stuff. (Not even to mention the amount of hair these combs release. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever seen!)Strongly recommend buying!
