The kit comes exactly as described/pictured. My cats enjoy being groomed & don't make such a fuss anymore. My long haired cat is grateful, I'm able to comb out most of her undercoat/ winter coat. We previously used the furminator, but found she did NOT like it & we (as a family) agreed it was too rough. Until we got this kit we were using a regular cat brush from the local Walmart (sub-par not our cats favorite either) or a regular hair brush/ comb. Not anymore though!We love using the larger steel comb to initially detangle her fur, get out any debris (from backyard strolls) or figure out where any mats might be. We then use the two pink combs all over the body & the tail for both cats. Finishing off with the smaller comb/bristle brush for the face area. Definitely a value buy & better alternative for grooming. Our vet approved too!

Great for Fleas!The long pink brush is exactly what I needed to help brush out dead fleas, flea dirt, and even a few live fleas from this sweet stray boy I’m trying to help. I treated him for fleas, but the outdoor infestation is so severe that the process has been challenging.After about two hours of brushing, I wasn’t even getting a single piece of flea dirt anymore—proof of how effective the brush was! Here’s how I used it: 1. First Brushing:I used water and a paper towel (though adding soap would’ve been better). Even without soap, the brush did a great job. 2. Second Brushing:I spent another session outside, brushing him dry and tapping the brush against bushes to clear debris. This was more about convenience, but it worked well for removing flea dirt and dead fleas.Tips for Use: • Soapy Water: This is the best approach for tackling live fleas. • Dry Brushing: Effective for removing flea dirt and dead fleas, but keep in mind that eggs might also be coming out. • Location: Avoid brushing inside if possible, as eggs could spread. Since he’s a stray, I worked in the garage and outdoors for safety.This brush made a huge difference and helped me care for this little guy. Highly recommended!

Love this comb set it is awesome to take off dry skin on your dog. It also gets the fleas off it's truly awesome.

I know these brushes are mainly for flea removal. My cat sheds a lot so I thought that because of the tight bristles it would also be great for removing loose hair. Unfortunately it’s not and it removes very little hair (which I was surprised by) therefore this product didn’t meet my needs. I will say that for the price, it’s great quality and definitely affordable. The only brush I didn’t like/ found useless was the all metal comb in the second picture; It didn’t do anything for my cats hair. But.. I’m sure that also depends on the type & length of hair your pet hair.
