We had a small 5th birthday party for my little dude and these were perfect for the little guests. I hate the cheap dollar store quantity over quality favors that I immediately put into the trash or donate and these would never fit that. Little dude plays with it in the car or at restaurants and it's not obnoxiously loud or annoying in the least. HIGHLY recommend as a great attention keeper for littles.

What I love about these is that kids know immediately that it's not one of those plastic throw away party bag toys. It's a real wood musical instrument specifically for their little fingers. This is a precious and unique party gift.

These are perfect stocking stuffers! I bought them last year, and they have still lasted to this day! They have cool shapes and are easy to learn to play. They aren't very loud, and get out of tune very easily. They fit in your pocket though, so you can whip out a tune right out of your pocket! These work pretty well, would recommend.

They "keys" are stiff, and barely give. It is difficult to play. It makes more of a plinking sound that what we heard in videos online.They are small, and it's difficult to hold it still with both hands while trying to press the keys.Also be aware the keys are not in order of piano keys. (A B C D E... etc) They alternate.

This is a set of three small kalimbas. One is oval, one like a bear head shape, and one a heart shape. Each kalimba has 8 tines, to play 8 notes. These kalimbas are best for kids to hold in their smaller hands. The photo I took is my husband holding one, and you can see he had a hard time plucking just one note at a time, plus his big hands muffled the sound. A cute feature is that each kalimba comes with a simple little necklace so you can tie the end through a hole in the kalimba and carry it around. Any kid could play with this and it would not bother anyone. The tones are correct, and you can play basic songs with it. I would say this is a novelty instrument for younger kids, as a way of introducing them to basic music melodies.

This was one of the best gifts I was able to give to my Nieces & Nephews. Different, Small, Good price and very easy to ship. I was so Happy to hear all the kids loved it, and I got such great feedback .My own children (the oldest of them all and in their early 20's) Loved the stocking stuffer.Thank you. I usually have small prewrapped gifts in an extra stocking or hanging on the tree for surprise guests. (which happens often with young adults) This will be added to it.again, Thank you.
