I bought these because my dog has been overrun by ticks this season and I needed a way to comb through and pull them out before they attach to her skin. I’ve been mainly using the large handled one. This works great for this purpose! The small spacing between the teeth help easily pull the tick from her fur, then I dunk the comb into a bowl of hot soapy water. The ticks fall right off and drown in the bowl. The 3 pack is a great value so I can keep one in the car as needed. No issues so far with the product.

All of the combs work the same. I'm not sure why there's 3 to the pack. They're great as a final step after initial brushing and combing with wider teeth. These combs are good for smoothing and finding miniscule bits of dirt.

I like that there are different combs. One is very fine, fine, and wide . The very fine is around the face. Wide on body, and for a larger dog medium comb for the face. They do a great job!

The combs work well enough to groom my cats. The metal comb has already bent or broken in a few spots, but this package isn’t very expensive, so I wasn’t expecting super high quality. It does what it needs to, so if you aren’t a professional groomer, these will work fine.

I was skeptical about whether this comb would go through my dogs’ fur and actually remove fleas. As soon as I received the set, I ran the metal comb down my beagle’s back, and sure enough, there was a flea! Since she is old and in very poor health, I need something easy and effective at removing fleas without any type of chemical substance. This comb is exactly what she needs. I also questioned whether the close teeth would be able to penetrate the dense undercoat on my Australian cattle dog, and it works mostly well on her, too. It tends to stick a little in dense spots, but holding it at a different angle lets me get through the comb through all areas of her coat. I’m so happy I bought these tools that are much cheaper and safer than conventional flea treatments.
