It’s large enough to read easily but small enough to fit into confined spaces, making it ideal for installations where space is limited.Ease of Installation: The 1/4" NPT male thread is a standard connection size, making it easy to install into most vacuum systems without the need for adapters.Cons:Limited Maximum Pressure: This gauge is specifically designed for vacuum pressure measurement, so it cannot be used for high-pressure applications. Users needing to measure both vacuum and positive pressures will need a different gauge.Small Dial Size: While the 2" dial size is typically sufficient, users who require more precise readings might prefer a larger dial for easier visibility, especially in complex systems where small pressure changes are critical.Accuracy at Extreme Low Pressures: While the gauge is generally accurate, extreme low-pressure readings (close to -30 inHg) might require a higher-precision instrument. Some users have noted that at the very bottom of the range, the readings may be slightly less precise, though this is typical for many vacuum gauges. Conclusion:The GOATACURA -30inHg-0 Glycerin Filled Vacuum Pressure Gauge is a reliable, durable, and versatile tool for measuring vacuum pressure in a variety of systems. Its glycerin-filled design offers stability and protection against vibrations, while the 304 stainless steel case ensures long-lasting durability in harsh environments. The 2" dial size offers a good balance of readability and compactness, making it suitable for use in both professional and DIY applications. With its 1/4" NPT male thread, it is easy to install and compatible with most vacuum systems. While it is perfect for vacuum pressure measurement, it is not suitable for high-pressure applications, and those needing extreme low-pressure accuracy may want to consider a more specialized gauge. Overall, the GOATACURA vacuum pressure gauge provides excellent value for anyone needing a reliable, stable, and easy-to-use tool for vacuum systems, HVAC, automotive diagnostics, or industrial applications.

This review evaluates the “2in Dial, 1/4" NPT, Stainless Steel Glycerin Filled 0-60 PSI/KPA Pressure Gauge†made by GOATACURA.The product was shipped very securely in a foam-fitted box. There is not much to this item out of the box: one (1) 2in Dial, 1/4" NPT, Stainless Steel Glycerin Filled 0-60 PSI/KPA Pressure Gauge, and a serialized matching quality control test certificate.First impressions: WOW. Great quality. What strikes you first is the quality of the 304 stainless steel case, it is very thick, heavy, and highly polished to a mirror shine. The gauge itself is of excellent quality and made of durable materials: a 304 stainless-steel casing, solid brass ¼†NPT mount fitting, and a thick polycarbonate plastic lens. The gauge is glycerin-filled to enhance vibration and shock resistance and facilitates a more accurate reading. The gauge face is 2.0†in size and its PSI scale pressure intervals are spread out to facilitate an accurate reading at a glance. The solid brass ¼†NPT mount fitting has good-quality threads with no defects. This gauge is suitable for non-corrosive liquid and gas services (water, oil, gas, and hydraulic pressure). NOTE: This gauge is NOT suitable for OXYGEN service. Each gauge is uniquely serialized and comes with a matching serialized quality control test certificate that conforms to ANSI B40.1 (Grade A) accuracy standards. The product claims to be IP67 rated which by international standards means that for whatever its purpose or intended market, it can resist exposure to dust and withstand up to 30 minutes of submersion in water up to 40 inches (or one meter) in depth. I did not water test this product, however, it appears that this case will take whatever you throw at it.How does this gauge work? To determine that I made a test fitting and plugged it into my shop air system which is calibrated to distribute 110PSI air to the system outlets. The gauges on my system are more accurate (mineral oil-filled industrial gauges) and this gauge measured the shop air pressure very close to the same as my system gauge.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am very satisfied with the product. It is decently made from durable materials and extremely easy to read. At a current price of $15.99 (plus a $2 off coupon), I feel it is very competitively priced for the quality and functionality delivered. In summary: the “2in Dial, 1/4" NPT, Stainless Steel Glycerin Filled 0-60 PSI/KPA Pressure Gauge†made by GOATACURA is an industrial grade, durable gauge that is built to last. I would recommend this product without reservation.Pros ðŸ‘:✔ Well made from durable materials - industrial grade.✔ Thick, heavy corrosion-resistant 304 stainless-steel casing.✔ Glycerin filled to enhance vibration and shock resistance and facilitate a more accurate reading.✔ Thick polycarbonate plastic dial lens.✔ 2†easy-to-read dual scale (PSI/KPA) dial.✔ Solid brass ¼†NPT mount fitting with good quality threads.✔ IP67 waterproof rated.✔ 0-60 PSI with a +/- 3-2-3% accuracy – complies with ANSI B40.1 (Grade A) accuracy standards.✔ Smooth functioning – no leaks.✔ Suitable for non-corrosive liquid and gas service (water, oil, gas, and hydraulic pressure).✔ Uniquely serialized gauge – comes with matching quality control test certificate.✔ Low price – great value.Cons👎:✘ None!

I love good tools. The attention to details, the construction of parts and how they fit together, materials used - all of these things and more, go into making quality tools. This Pressure Gauge falls into that category. If "stars" were awarded just for looks alone, this gauge would rate a five out of five! It is beautiful! A front bezel of polished steel, a body of brushed steel and a solid brass fitting! All fitting together in flawless execution. There is nothing out of place. The case is smooth, and without any burrs or nicks. What is a pressure gauge without being able to accurately read pressure? Nothing. However, each of these gauges comes with their own Serial Number. (located at the very bottom of the face. White on white - you have to look for it...) On its own, that's nice, but also included is a filled out Accuracy Test Report. It lists the model number as well as the serial number of your gauge. My gauge was tested at 0, 40, 80 and 160psi. The readings were spot on, except for the 80psi test, where it ran to 81psi. Talk about accurate! The rest of the form is listed with the date, who inspected and what the results mean. This is one of those rare cases where I wish I could rate this Pressure Gauge higher in points. It exceeds your every expectations of what such a tool should be. I could not be more delighted or impressed!
