My previous gauge and fitting leaked with or without teflon tape. Compression female fitting just did not work with gauge as presented in the package. This MEASUREMAN gauge fit precisely in the female compression connection. Excellent product. Works as designed.

I don't have another pressure guage to compare but the guage seems to be accurate based on the reading of the rusted out one that preceeded it. It's a good looking guage and it works, not much else to say.

Using two of the 150 psi gauges to monitor input and output pressure on a reverse osmosis system. I'm at about 5,000 feet altitude, to the air bubble in the gauge is a bit larger than it would be a sea level. I added some glycerin to reduce the bubble size to something more reasonable. Would be nice if they put a "seal" between the display panel and the gauge through the top 180 degrees of it's arc. That way the bubble would stay out of sight on the back side of the panel and would still function just fine.

Accuracy is not perfect, more like +/- 5psi which is not bad. So far so good it has not leaked. The huge plus is that it is lead free which is critical so I can overlook the accuracy issue.

Everything I wanted in a gauge for a DIY RO/DI system. High quality housing, stainless steel and 1/4" fitting. Other gauges on Amazon in this same price range can't compete, I've ordered them, they deteriorate fast.I'll be sure to order these from now on.

I bought this because it was way cheaper than one I could make with parts from Home Depot and the quality is there. The gauge is made of metal and has glycerin in it. Also comes with 1/4†and 3/8†tee.

This comes with fittings for a standard Reverse Osmosis Filter. The point about being filled with glycerin is that the mechanism and needle are stabilised against movement of the gauge. Also the glycerin has a very low freezing point. This a heavy duty, robust and well crafted device several levels above a typical RO pressure gauge. It will last a lifetime. It will not come filled to top of the gauge with glycerin - this is deliberate and completely normal - the gap allows for expansion in warmer weather.Invest in one of these and you will be pleased you did. Top quality product.

Placed this in front of the RO membrane to see how much pressure I was actually getting.Adjusted it to 30PSI now and the autoshut off now works well.Once it drops to 20PSI along with a TDS meter, I can easily tell when to replace the media.The build quality appears to be pretty solid.

You have to press the 1/4†tubing pretty hard into the quick connects but once seated it has worked fine. I put it on the supply side but I think it needs to reside right before the ROnfilter for a better diagnose or after?
