I bought this as a Christmas present for my 14 year old son. No info on how long to charge this 8.4 volt battery. It mentions not to over charge it or over shoot when battery is wearing down to prevent battery damage. After watching 30 minutes of videos online, the reviewer said to charge it for 5.5 hours. You will get about 500 rounds before battery needs recharged. As far as durability I would give it four stars. I gave it 3 stars mainly because it frequently jams on full auto...

This ak47 works really well, shoots really well, and shoots up to 400 fps, hop up works amazing also, but one issue is that the gearbox is made of plastic, if you are planning on dropping this thing or being rough with it, dont buy, it broke after 8 months of having it and stopped working after dropping it around 5-10 times from various heights, like 3-5 feet. The "wood" part is fake, and the body is not metal, but it is sturdy, its just the internal components that are weak.
