I used this over a clean garbage can to collect rainwater. It worked perfectly. And it's a great price. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have a 50 gallon garbage can on my back porch that I use to catch rainwater to help water my plants. Since I’m not fond of mosquitoes, my options were to keep the water circulating by either using some sort of solar water pump or to use 25¢ goldfish to eat the larvae. I had an old window screen that I used but that fell apart and was looking for screen material to make something exactly like this and as I was doing a search this netting came up. The item has a toggle and drawstring so it adjusts to different sizes. The netting keeps the mosquitoes out as well as debris. The lizards, butterflies and other tiny wildlife will walk on the netting (without drowning) and drink water so I’m happy nature benefits form me having this over the opening. This is the second one I got. The first one is holding up nicely. This one I set up on another makeshift rain barrel in the front of my house. Great price, great product. I may get another to have as a spare.

I was looking for an inexpensive covering for an extra rain barrel and this is working well. It does blow in the wind however, so I will weigh it down with a few rocks.

This has worked soooo well for my rain barrel. It keeps leaves and bugs out and has held up ex well (through two hurricanes). No tears whatsoever

This item stays securly on my collapsible water barrel. Plus it's easy to clean any brush off so it doesn't fall in when removing the cover. Handy and inexpensive item to keep collected water clean.

We have several rain barrels around our house to help conserve water during the summertime & I have (unsuccessfully) (don't ask) made a variety of mesh covers to keep the mosquito population down. I saw these, cheaper to buy than make & thought "why not?". So far, so good. They are super easy to attach & cinch up & two come in a package. I did not cinch one tightly enough in our first rainstorm, but after rescuing it & re-attaching tighter, it survived a very strong windstorm since.

This cover is keeping bugs and mosquitoes out of my rain barrel. My rain barrel has what looks like a window screen on the top. Only thing that was good for is keeping out dirt and leaves. This net fit on my barrel and didn't cause any issues with closing the lid.

I purchased these to keep for emergency water storage. These fit well over the plastic barrels that I keep in case we need to store water for use during hurricane season or catch water after a storm.
