I got these to cover wheels while detailing the paint. Nothing like having clean wheels after the wash, and while using compound or polish have a splatter coat a tire or wheel, causing a re wash on a fresh application of LSP.I included 2 pictures of them on a P275/65R18 tire on Ford 18" Wheels.They cover the whole tire and wheel, they do not "hook" all the way over the tire like they would on smaller tires, but is covers the whole wheel / tire all the same.They do have a nice cling function to them, that stops them from blowing around getting in the way.

I pruchased these hoping they would slip over the entire wheel like a trash bag, but they are open at the rear. The back of the cover is only partially closed off (about 1/3) and hooks over the tire and holds the front part over the wheel as a large flap. These would be good for detailing to keep polish/wax/or sanding residue off the wheels, but are not very good for painting as they must be taped to the tire (which doesn't stick well) and the top corners touch the body so they have to be taped down also. Takes too much time and not practical to use, and don't cover the whole wheel, just the top and the face. This is really just a drape and not a real wheel masker for collision work. The search continues for a good disposable masker that stays tight and in place...

the plastic is big enough for my needs. simple to use and does what its supposed to do. it actually clings to the tire stays on after you cover the wheel.

It's almost like someone emptied the box of what was supposed to be in there and just filled it with sheets of plastic. Absolutely nothing like the description. No hole cut for the wheel, no "ties".
