This GVPART4U 4" Cold Air Intake Kit & Filter Heat Shield for Chevy for GMC 1999 2000 2001 2002 works as expected. It was pretty easy to install and seems to work. I haven't really noticed any changes in gas milage, but I have a heavy foot so I like to romp on it. Maybe if I took it easy I'd notice. Hopefully on the next road trip I will notice a slight improvement.

While it appears the entire piece would fit, there’s no way to angle it around the upper radiator hose or fan shroud. Looks great and in quality but there’s no way to install it. Not worth the money, will be returning.

I heard through the grapevine that a 4" intake pipe would add power to my Honda v6 over the 3" intake pipe I had. I cut it up to fit, and honestly just need another 5 inches of a 4" pipe to fit the filter down into my bumper cavity to make it an actual "cold air intake". It actually did make the engine breath a bit better and definitely feels like it has some more power. Obviously these aren't huge gains or anything but its enough to feel on the butt dyno.

Makes a nice upgrade and the fitment is great. On Silverado it's great. Some assembly that takes like 5 minutes for an air filter shroud requires 3 bolts and a piece of rubber for on edges. Two warm gear-style clamps for the air filter and throttle body. Plus some hp gains by cold air in take.
