I needed to grind down a corner of a sidewalk slab that lifted. I thought I would go through a lot of the disc's to get it level, but only needed one. These last long and worked well.

I bought these concrete disc grinders to levels some of my uneven surfaces of my sidewalk. It took me only 15 minutes to grind the uneven surfaces. Very happy with these disc, it performed so well and didn't have a kick back while grinding the cement surface. I used liquid cement at the grinding area for a final touch. Very happy with the quality and performance of this grinding disc. Sincerely, TONY.

Was surprised on how good it works, still on the first wheel and it doesn't show much wear. Used it to smooth garage floor cracks. Make sure you have plenty of ventilation. Would recommend.

Used 1 wheel to smooth out a disastrous 2x8 ft concrete repair. Very happy with its quality and the results. Attached to a cheap harbor freight grinder and no issues.

Purchased to knock down concrete sidewalk corners for easier snow removal using an old 7A, 4-1/2" angle grinder which has a 5/8" threaded output shaft and 7/8" mounting hardware. A true 4-1/2" grinding cup might not clear the guard so I opted for the safe (and less expensive) option. The cup fits the inside (unthreaded) mount. The base of the friction surface is about level with the guard. The output shaft does not extend past the base of the friction surface. The one minor issue is the outside threaded mount contacts the inside of the cup about 1/3 of the way from the intended clamping surface. Not sure yet if this is a problem or not but it seems to work OK. With that said, at the RPMs this sucker will be spinning at, I'd prefer it to clamp as intended. Maybe I'll go to the hardware store and buy a 5/8" nut and flat washer. The abrasive material appears to be adequately fastened to the formed metal backing cup. I'd hate to think of the carnage if a chunk of it broke free during use and clipped me in the nuts.At this price point I don't expect them to last forever and haven't tested them yet. Based on other reviews I'll assume they are just good enough to knock down a few high concrete coners.

works like you would expect it to--leveling a 1' square area of concrete

I shaved off about 12 feet of concrete with a single disk, which was pretty good. The second disk was sharper, but somehow had more vibration than the first one, but ate concrete equally well. I did the 14 ft strip in under 2 hours. Probably would've been faster if I had my technique set from the start. It is much faster to cut groves perpendicular to the gap between the plates every 1/2 inch or so than just shaving everything. I figured it out after I had done the first quarter.
