we have a post in the center of our garage, right where my husband needs to open his car door. We lined it up accordingly on the post and stuck it there, and it has never moved! Saved him from both chipping the post or chipping his door!

I installed these protective pads in my garage about 5 years ago. They were easy to install and they work great. They saved me from getting several chips and dings on my car over the past five years.

Amazingly dense pads that spring back to shape after taking a beating from a car door. Neither my car doors nor garage walls get damaged anymore. I’ve used these for years and they still perform like new.Okay, first off, plan ahead where you want these to go. The adhesive is crazy strong. Which is good. You want it strong. It makes it stay put when you bang your car door into it. But if you make a mistake when applying it and rip it off, it will remove wall paint/dry wall. So plan ahead - I recommend sketching out on the wall with a ruler and a pencil. Or learn to live with a chunk of missing paint.Also. The yellow sheets that protect the adhesive are tough to get off because it’s so sticky. Again, you want sticky because once it’s in place, you’re gonna love it. No more chipped paint on your car doors. Be patient with yourself as you wrestle with the yellow sheets.Twice now I have purchased and installed these bumpers. And if/when I move again, I’ll install them there, too. Cheap and effective protection. Must have for garages.

Hold nicely, but have to be careful putting them off, or the drywall paper will rip off.

Tight garage and I squeeze out of car so being able to push door to wall important. Cushiony with instant stick. Door is protected for certain!

They’re ok and will protect your door. However, they are permanent. If you try to remove them after they have been attached for a while, they will either break apart, or bring the paint (and drywall) with it due to the strong adhesive. If you change your car and need to realign to the new doors, you’ll probably have to buy more and leave the original ones on the wall if you don’t want any damage and mess.

I had high hopes when I opened the package as the foam was thick and it looked solid. First, trying to remove the backing from the adhesive was difficult. It was too thin and it tore into small pieces. Took me several minutes to remove it from each panel. The adhesive was strong as I applied it to the drywall in my garage. Unfortunately, the first time my car door butted up against the foam it sliced it right in half. It’s too bad, I had high hopes for the product.

I got what I expected. But what I didn't expect was the cover on the pad to be so hard to remove so it can be placed in proper position to prevent damage. If there was a lift off tag to help pull the paper off the sticky side it would be a 5 Star product.

Easy enough to cut and stick in place. Used some to protect the wife from bumping her head on a protruding outside window sill.
