Reeds held together with wire that is not secure. Reed is very thick, and out of tune. Hard to play on. My 13yr old Tried each one once and tossed in the trash.

I didn't find these reeds to be very well balanced or constructed. They did not fall apart but were not anything that could be salvaged for much playing.

My son did not care for the quality of these reeds - not sure if reeds are personal preference or not - He is an advanced 7th grade oboe player.
