When I first received this garden pick I was a little disappointed because of its small size. But in all fairness, it won me over very quickly once I put it to work. It’s small stature turned out to be a real plus in working in tight places. In setting up my garden, it was my most used garden tool. It is very durable and will last a long time.

I use this for small garden soil break up and can be a very good root cutting tool. The handle is a bit small around for my hands, so I wrapped it with leather. I've been told I have big hands...

I've been wanting this pick for some time now; after protecting myself with proper clothing, goggles, and gloves, I've used it on old caked-up chunks of salt for water softener. I put the older salt on some wild invasive plants and trees that wouldn't stop growing and spreading. I researched and found salt is an ingredient to get rid of bad growing plants. It worked! I left some smaller chunks for the rain to wash in and they are gone. M

For my use it is rather small. I would have liked it to be a little bigger. Maybe half the size of a regular grubbing hoe.

Living in the Land of Glacial Till, this tool is the best, most useful, most affordable gardening tool that I own! The handle won't deteriorate in rain, the weight is perfect, and the pick end easily gets under rocks in the soil. I bought the set of two; one for me, and one to gift. Used sideways, it brings all the soil back into the hole once the plant has been placed.

Not forged, not green, not heavy duty and not assembled and didn't come with wedge setup to lock the metal pick head to handle.

Perfect tool for trenching and prospecting. Put a strip of tape on handle under blade so it doesn’t slip while in use.
