These covers seem to be well made and were very easy to put over my rain barrels and fit perfectly. I'm hoping they have enough insulation to help keep what little rain water is left in my barrels from when it was warmer to keep it from freezing. I added some inulation before I put on the covers, so maybe they're safe. I know I should empty the barrels before cold weather sets in, but I use it to water my houseplants and don't like to waste it. I have 2 barrels and have let both freeze and split in places. They're patched as best I could and still leak slowly, but with luck, these covers will keep this from happening again or getting worse.

These are definitely better looking that just having my plain barrels out in front of the house. They fit great, they look great, and hopefully they prevent some of the green growth that always shows up on the inside of my barrels! I will be buying another set for my other side!

I use these on my two 55 gallon plastic barrels for gas and diesel with hand crank pumps mounted on top. Keeps all the crud from building up on the top of the barrel.I also bought a second pair to cover my burn barrels so they wouldn't rust out as quickly. I do recommend making a plywood barrel top cover to keep rain from sagging this cover.

If you want to just cover a barrel then these will work. If you want to cover a rain catch barrel then not so much No opening in the top. Be great if they added an opening that would fit around attached to the gutter.

The whisk barrel covers fit like a glove they were easy to use and they do look nice when they’re covered too.

I have my doubts about how well these would withstand direct exposure to the elements. My drums are not in direct sunlight and under cover, and they seem perfect for that. Much easier than dealing with tarps.

Seems well made enough for a drum cover. If it fails in 6 months to a year I will update my feedback.
