These do cut through metal, including screws and nails but it is a slow process. One thing I did notice is as I cut, it doesn't seem to get dull as you go. I'm sure they get dull eventually, but they can take a good amount of cutting something very hard to cut, like metal, for a long time. These are a handy blade for cutting small things and very hard things. Great item for the price.

I have used these cutting discs with my Dremel to cut this pieces of wood where my saws would not fit and on a piece of plastic with the same issue. They cut right through easily and made a nice cut. The blades are very sharp and left a smooth edge.
