This is very well made should last a very long time and it comes in handy when you need to fix your vehicle. In the past you would have to rent the tools and then returns them for your deposit back. With this you're not under the gun on time and you can even lend it out to your friend.

Dangerous! The metal is too soft and bent while using. If you buy this, please wear a face shield at least! I’ve used many Pittman arm pulls and never had that happen. In the photo, it bent and popped off the side.

Newer vehicles don't hold up as well when hammering loose balljoints. There's aluminum control arms and knuckles now. This set allows you to use control when popping ball joints loose instead of brute force. For the price this set can't be beat.

This Ball Joint Separator / Tie Rod Removal Tool Kit is great for the backyard mechanic. It’s built quite well with what looks like quality materials. I haven’t used this set yet but I’ve used similar tools in the past and this looks like it would stand up nicely with the others I’ve used. The reason I ordered this is to save money and do the work myself and if you wait till it’s needed it’s too late. So it’s best to be prepared. If you’re a do it yourself kind of person then this is a great choice for you.

good for the diy mechanic, better than to keep renting this tool anytime you need it.good build quality but maybe not as good as a pro set.has some weight to it
