This seems heavy duty and well made to work with my big right angle grinder. I have never used these before so got one to try when I make a poured floor in my fruit cellar.

I used this to grind the mating surface of 2 undermount Kohler porcelain sinks that both had 'humps' above the over flow drain channels. One sink was made in Brazil and it was extra wonky, not at all flat to mate to underside of the granite countertop. The other Kohler, made in Malaysia was flatter, better made, but still had slight 'humps' at the overflow drain-- and on opposite side as well. I just let my grinder 'float' on the sink rim at 10,000 rpm of my angle grinder. I had great control, working the grinder back and forth along the edge, taking off a little at a time till the sink rim was much closer to true flat. I did not see any noticeable wear to the grinding disk when I was finished.

We are using slate around our house. Literally, as we are using it for steps and a sitting bench at the back of the house and it is used for steps and as the top of our planter that runs the length of the front of our house.Unfortunately, so of the slate received some scuffs from materials for another project.I decided to try this grinding cup and I was pleased. Using it with water I was able to smooth out a lot of the unsightly marks. I am waiting on a rougher stone for the worse marks. This matches the original finish well, so I did not have to do the entire surface to make my repair match. Just a bit of blending.I gave this 5 stars because it worked!

This grinder wheel is solid and works well. The glass fiber backside is holding up. I would buy it again.

The HONGUIS 7 inch Concrete Grinding Cup Wheel,5/8"-11 Arbor is a well-made wheel that fits onto the standard arbor threads of most 7" -9" grinders. The fiberglass backing plate is quite heavily constructed, so I'm sure it will perform well. It's balanced and runs true.Somehow I wound up accidentally ordering 400 grit instead of the 50 grit that I needed, so it won't work for my intended purpose. As a Vine reviewer I don't have the option of returning or exchanging it. Perhaps one day I'll use it for next-to-final finishing on a granite hearth repair, but for now my review is primarily based on build quality. This is a nice diamond/ceramic wheel for the price.

This wheel runs very smooth. No vibration. I am using it to polish a 45 degree corner bevel on 1" thick marble slabs. This wheel does a nice job. Will come back lightly with hand sanding to take off any slight circular marks left by the wheel. Though I may not. These wheels leave a very nice finish. Will order more when I need them.
