My new years resolution was to stop spending money on things that work the same but I could get for less. My resolution wasn't to substitute lesser quality items, but instead look for quality alternatives. This universal cat litter refill pack for my litter genie is one of those purchases. Once they arrived, I watched the video and had the new bags in in about 60 seconds. I wasn't sure I should pull the old "top" part off of my previous refill, but another one is included that may work better. I ended up just using my old one. The bags are not thin, they are strong. I'm happy with my purchase and even happier with my savings.

These bags are a bit challenging to fit into my existing cartridges. There is definitely a learning curve. The plastic bag is narrower and fills up quicker than the original Litter mate refill bags. Would purchase again if litter mate brand is not available.

These fit the litter genie well and I didn’t have any issues with functionality…. But the smell was horrible. I used them for a month and had to switch back to Litter Genie brand because I couldn’t stand the smell.

BE WARNED: This includes only the TOP plastic piece for refill (and only one of them), so if you've thrown away the complete OLD refill, which any sane person would do, since they are DISPOSIBLE units full of used cat litter, you have no way to USE this product. There is nothing to attach the bags to. RETURNING.

It took my husband and I a bit of time to figure out these are best used in the official brand's dispenser. Once my husband mastered that, these worked GREAT! And so much cheaper for just a little extra effort.
