I am a preschool teacher at a daycare and let me tell you! The noise levels can get very high.he was whole is perfect because I can wear it as a necklace or I can wear it on my wrist or on my keychain and it's very high pitch so it drops the noise level down very low and draws attention.I use it in the classroom my husband uses it at work when he's working on cranes to signal to the operator his hand signals. We love our whistles. we use it when we go fishing when you sit on the boat we use it for safety purposes.

I'm in Alaska so in order to actually know if they work for scaring off the bears I would need to find a bear. I want to - don't get me wrong BUT I don't want to need to use this whistle when I do see one! It sounds good to me when I blow it and that's security enough for me!

These whistles work. I was disappointed with the color selection and lack of choice. I know that's not the important thing when needing a whistle, but if you're going to advertise colors, give me a choice of the ones I want.The whistles work great and fit on the keychain easily without adding bulk. Definitely recommend.

The title says it all. They are a great size. I have one hanging on the shoulder strap of a most of my backpacks. But 4 out of 5 are hard to blow. That may sound like a very weird statement... but they really hard hard to blow. You have to adjust your lips quite a bit to get the right seal on the tip to get them to whistle. For the money though, they are nice to have on a bag. I keep them more as an in case of emergency thing. So they will not get used a lot.

Advertised as 7 whistles, only received five. Haven’t even opened them to try them, so I can’t even say if they work, but this is not a promising start.

This small whistle is the perfect fit for my daughter and myself. It is lightweight, attaches to our keychains, and is very loud. We use it for security purposes and I feel more secure and empowered knowing I have the whistle at my fingertips. The loudness itself would give a bad guy a reason to be startled! Very reasonable cost as well.

Got the whistles very early which was a surprise but when i got the whistles i tried them right away; at first i was disappointed that the first two (red and blue) didnt work but as soon as i got the third one i realized why they are for emegencies lol. As pleased as i am with three working amazingly i was disappointed that they didnt all work.Would definetly recommend to anyone if all whistles worked.
