I like the whistles very much. It came as a pair. The material is metal which means very strong and can last for long time. They are very loud. It is extremely useful when I am hiking for any emergency situations. You can blow it in any emergency. In addition, the lanyard keeps it easier to carry and not lose it. I really like it. Will buy it again in the future if needed.

Well made, couldn't bend it with my hands, barely could dent it with a pocket knife tip strike. The lanyard is sizeable and will fit over any head. You can hold 1 finger over the side of the whistle to get a distinct whistle, one side or the other, OR don't cover it and get the plain whistle. All is loud when used. I give it a 10/10 for price and performance, and also durability.

Very nice quality aluminum whistles with what seems to be a anodized finish. These whistles are extremely loud which is great because I purchased them for safety for my wife in her travels. I will be purchasing more of these in the future for stocking stuffers for family members next Christmas.

These whistles may be a bit on the small side but in my opinion they’re a perfect size for us ladies. I like the fact that the removable lanyard is included and also the whistle has a nice jump ring on it so that I can also attach the whistle to my keys as an alternative way to carry it. The whistles size and ease of carry will allow me to take it on solo walks etc. The sound is a shrill sound and seems like it will carry a good distance. I like that there are two whistles per order. Overall in my opinion this is a good value.

I bought the 4-pack so that I would have one on my purse (think dark parking lot), one in my car (images of the car that went off the bank and down a ravine where no one could see it), one in my camera pack for hiking (if lost, or to ward off an aggressive animal), and one for the house . The one for the house is really for the dog--should have had one starting 10 years ago. As a suggestion for those whose dogs bark too long, it's never too late to teach the old dog new tricks. But when you use the whistle in the house, start out softly--a full blast is too loud indoors and might make a nervous dog wet the rug, lol. It took one time with the whistle to take our dog's attention off barking, and after the second event he understood what we wanted. He is allowed a few barks (after all, we appreciate his guarding the home) but then we tell him okay and come. Amazing how fast he picked up the new routine. The whistle is a clearer, more precise command than trying to shout words over loud barking. Now, if he gets caught up in the moment and doesn't stop barking right away on voice command, I give the whistle a soft blow and he stops.In a nutshell, this whistle is as loud or soft as you need for the situation.

Étant une passionnée des randonnées pédestres, utilisation de ce sifflet est parfaite pour éloigner certains animaux surtout en cas d’accident. Le sonore de ce sifflet est assez fort pour se faire repérer. Je l’ai essayé dans la maison seulement un petit soufflement et assez pour sursauter. J’ai fait un bon choix.
