I was very pleased of the packaging when I received this after ordering it. I was able to take it out and fished all day, seemed like it would cast a mile and it operated very well.

been using abu garcia for years, but totally got ripped off with this purchase, the top guide was broke had to repair it and the reels drag wont tighten up ? and i dont want to send it back to amazon just to get more junk , the money i paid for this combo i should have got way better quality will never purchase this kind of product again!

No damage to packaging but hand crank was badly bent. Had to have come from manufacture that way and was not sellers fault. Had to disassemble from reel and straighten. Could have returned but was easy to rectify issue and still worth the money spent.

Rod has very flexible tip. Stout blank. Reel is ver simple, super smooth casting snd retrieve. Also an excellent over the side of the boat jigging set up. Super high, wellmtched rod and reel.
