What is Aerial Yoga?
- The simplest definition of aerial yoga is a yoga practice that combines traditional yoga postures and Pilates exercises with the use of a silk hammocks to help aid and support the poses. With the hammock or yoga swing hanging from the ceiling, about three feet off the ground, practitioners are able to feel supported in back bends and in inversions. These hammocks can hold up to 2,000 pounds, so they are durable yet soft and fluid.
- This is why this type of yoga practice is also call anti-gravity or suspension yoga because for much of the session, you will be suspended off the ground by the hammock.

Need I say more? My kids - 9,8 and 5 take turns every 10 minutes. The quality is great and seems like it will really last. Make sure to hang it on a beam so it’s very secure.

Simple to set up with daisy chains. Fabric is probably fine for the intent of doing yoga flows, but wouldn't recommend any aerial sling work - the edges lack structural integrity and fabric is noticably thinner than my aerial sling.Coloring was slightly off, the bag and fabric are very different colors and don't match the picture.Ordering the parts separately would have been about $15 more, but I would have gotten higher quality fabric and the color I was looking for, so I suppose that is the trade off. I was happy enough with it to keep it.

I bought this around a week ago and I literally can not stay off of it. The set came with an instruction guide, 2 Daisy Chains, 2 Carabiners, and of course the Silk. These can be multipurposed or retied to be regular double silks with no hassle! The fabric is soft and it doesn't sink too much. 10/10

I am in an aerial class currently so, I thought it would be a good idea to get one myself. However this kit had some things that could be nice to know ahead of time. 1. Does not come with everything to mount the silk. 2. Short silk, the silk folded in half was too short for a sling or silk alone unless u plan to mount it to a low ceiling. 3. Not stretchy fabric at all. 4. By the time u buy everything extra it is the same or more than just getting a complete kit to begin with. Though, the stuff that it comes with does seem high quality.

I gifted this to my daughter for Christmas. It developed holes within one month that show signs of running.
