With auto parts, I'm always apprehensive with Amazon. Almost always less expensive, but quality can be an issue, my experience. My trunk release was taking three or four button pushes for it to release. It's an old car, but it runs great... so I decided to see if a cheap part would fix the problem. Watched a You Tube video and when the part arrived I was kind of surprised to see it looked like the OEM. Install was pretty easy and it works like a champ!! I'm happy!

Functional replacement for cheap, took me longer to crawl through the trunk to open it and back then to replace it. 2 10mm bolts and a clip. Should of got this years ago. First I glued my broken one then held it together with zip ties, and only worked with the latch. Finally when that went I bit the bullet. Fit like a glove.

Purchased this for my boyfriend his car was broken into and they popped his trunk lock on his 2005 Honda accord this worked perfectly for his car

It works! No installation manual came with the package. Need to go to YouTube to learn how to install.However, the lock-in mechanism (the plastic piece) to connect to the metal rod in the trunk (for the hand release cable inside of the car) did not work out perfectly (will get loose if not install correctly). I had to use some wire to tie them together. If you don't use the hand release cable; i.e. just use the remote to open the trunk; it works out beautifully. The metal part of this device is strong and sturdy to latch the trunk.

It fits perfectly on my 2004 Acura TL. I replaced it myself. My old one was stuck on the closed position and could not reset. Easy to replace with no problems. Thank you so much also for the quick and fast delivery as well

Honestly fit perfect only con I had was that the wire latch hook was broken when I received the product
